I finished Dragon Age: Origins tonight. I teared up, and wasn’t expecting a *game* to make me this emotional. It was a great experience, all 50-60 hours of it. You know it’s a good game when it’s going through the ending dialogues and your immediate reaction is “I want to play it again.” And, since I don’t have funds for Dragon Age II yet, I probably will.
However, as much fun as it would be to play DA:O over and over again, I really need to finish Bayonetta, Mass Effect, and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Plus, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag looks really fun, too. And, of course, there’s always Skyrim.
Still, the feeling of completion is really nice. The moment of look, I can do this.
But, hey. I fulfilled a Dark Promise to Morrigan, and saved over half the troops at Denerim. So not bad for a game’s work.
In the meantime, I’ve downloaded Blender and started reading the book I took out from the library. I’ve made a wishlist on Amazon of books I want *just* related to video game developing… over 20 books right now. Turns out the animation for Blender is based on Python, so, I’m adding that to the list of languages I’m learning.
